Malugod na Pagbati! Muli, I'm Irish! a Filipino psychology undergraduate with a lifelong passion for language, culture, and helping others grow. Tagalog is my mother tongue. I've spoken it every day of my life, so you're learning directly from someone who lives and breathes the language! My background in psychology gives me a genuine edge as a tutor. I believe learning Tagalog should feel natural and confidence-building from the very first session. Drawing from my psychology background, I use conversation-based teaching, association techniques, and positive reinforcement to help new vocabulary and phrases stick, without overwhelming you with grammar rules upfront. A typical lesson starts with a warm-up using phrases from our previous session, moves into new vocabulary tied to a real-life theme like greetings, food, or directions, then wraps up with light roleplay and a quick review.
