About ANNABETH
I have been in the education field for 3 years and while many people do not understand the importance or requirements that it takes to be a para such as flexibility and patience, I love the career field that I have chosen. The smile on a student's face when they grasp a new word or understand a new piece of text evidence brings my heart so much joy. My most recent student success story is with a student suffering from dyslexia. This student would mix up their B’s and D’s as well as S’s and Z’s but after a while he began to listen to my words of wisdom and encouragement. This student just scored a 5 on his end of year reading assessment.

I have a compassionate heart towards students that are only missing a step in their educational ladder. I once too had a disconnect with reading and understanding text, now I have the opportunity to help other children that are facing the same adversity that I did as well.
