About Jeff

I'm a licensed EMS Instructor in the State of Georgia and am former Adjunct Faculty for the Paramedic Program at Dean College (Franklin, MA) with 14 years of clinical and operational EMS experience across the country.

I'm currently the Chief Executive Officer for a private ambulance agency in Middle Georgia and have a passion for EMS education and helping to develop new providers for the future of pre-hospital medicine.

I prefer a holistic approach to student success: Identifying the root challenges the student faces and techniques to mitigate those challenges, build confidence in the formative knowledge, enhance knowledge to higher levels of comprehension, and be available as a mentor for the duration of my students' careers.

This profession can sometimes fail new graduates to the field with a "sink or swim" approach. I believe that all EMS professionals need to have a mentor/confidant they can talk through difficult situations/material/concepts without judgement to grow as clinicians. There are no "one size fits all" solutions - so let's collaborate and get your career off on the right foot!

I also offer EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic refresher courses for interested students. These courses are approved by Georgia Department of Public Health and are accepted by NREMT for continuing education. Please check with your state to ensure out-of-state approved continuing education will be accepted for credit.

About the lesson

I provide personalized 1-on-1 tutoring for EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic student to focus on areas of weakness to ensure successful completion of class, the NREMT exam, and excellence as a clinician.

We will utilize the National EMS Education Standards to expand your knowledge of pre-hospital clinical and operational concepts with a didactic and practical approach to ensure both academic and clinical success in the field.

We had a great conversation about his confidence level of the material and where he feels weak (ACLS, patient assessment) in practical application of his knowledge. Developed a plan for ongoing tutoring sessions to address cognitive redirection, national EMS education standards, and psychomotor test prep.
