About Christoff

I am an aspiring paramedic, currently stuying to become an internationally-qualified Emergency Care Practitioner (ECP) in South Africa. I have additional background studies in Microbiology, Genetics, and Biochemistry, and will hopefully finish my third year of study in 2020, including practical and clinical emergency medicine applications.
I have recently started applying my knack for teaching to some significant success, and would like to expand my reach.

About the lesson

I firmly believe in an individualised approach. As in medicine, no two students (or patients) are identical, and even similar cases may exhibit differing, unique needs. I therefore rely on empathy, placing me in the student's metaphorical shoes, and allowing me to assess what is required for progress. Still being a student myself provides additional contextual insight in this regard.

Christoff is incredibly organised and detail-oriented. He is flexible with his schedule and works with each student to find a study method that works for them. Communicates well and is able to break down the issues you're experiencing and tackles them with you.

Christoff is patient, calm and a very diligent tutor. He truly goes the extra mile and would explain things to me a million times until I understood. He tutored me in biology - a subject I really struggled with. I graduated with a B thanks to him. I highly recommend him.

Details

Considering my lack of formal teaching qualification, and my wish to maintain balance between flexibility, and accommodating my students personally, my tariffs and logistical arrangements (time, recurring slots, material content adaptations, etc.) are always negotiable. This does also however mean that slots for students are limited. First classes are free, and intended as an introductory/probation meeting, after which all details will be determined individually per student.
