About Logan

I’m a paramedic, lifelong learner, and someone who genuinely enjoys teaching and helping others succeed. I graduated from Georgia Northwestern Technical College with a major in Paramedicine and am currently finishing my Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences while maintaining a 4.0 GPA.

I have eight years of experience in emergency medicine and have had the opportunity to work in several areas of patient care, education, and clinical practice. Along the way, I’ve earned additional certifications in ambulance documentation and compliance, EMS Safety Officer, Mental Health Resilience Officer, ventilator management, and pediatric sedation, among others. I also hold instructor certifications through the American Heart Association and NAEMT, along with a certificate in EMS Education.

I’ve tutored students both virtually and in person, and teaching is something I genuinely enjoy. I love taking complicated subjects and finding ways to explain them so they actually make sense. I know firsthand how overwhelming certain topics can be, especially in healthcare, where you’re expected to understand a lot of information and know how to apply it.

My teaching style is relaxed, patient, and approachable. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, working through mistakes, and learning at their own pace. There is no judgment here! Whether you’re preparing for an exam or trying to finally understand a difficult concept, I’m happy to help you get there.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to be engaging, easy to follow, and tailored to each student’s individual learning style. Whether you’re struggling with med math, the pH scale, acidosis and alkalosis, the Krebs cycle, anatomy and physiology, or just about anything else, I’m here to help make it click!

I enjoy breaking down complicated subjects into smaller, easier-to-understand concepts and finding different ways to explain things until they make sense. I also like incorporating real-world examples from my eight years of emergency care experience so you can understand how what you’re learning applies outside of a textbook.

Whether you’re completely new to a subject, preparing for an exam, or just need someone to help you work through a difficult topic, my goal is to make learning comfortable, productive, and maybe even fun. I encourage questions and never want anyone to feel embarrassed about not understanding something.

I’m a big believer that sometimes you just need someone to explain it a little differently. That’s where I come in!
