About Marvia
As I have previously said, I have worked in tough schools over the city. Public schools with minimum resources and burnt-out teachers that were just trying to survive the day. I am accustomed to working under pressure and facing unbeatable odds.
At my current school, I raised the student comprehension level from 10% to 30% in less than three months.

I have been an educator for 5 years, starting out as an Assistant Teacher in a Title I school based in the Bronx. My reliability and resilience towards problem solving pushes me to become your favorite educator. There is no problem too difficult when broken down into manageable pieces.
The problem sets I create are aimed to gradually increase in difficulty over time. I will "Launch" the concept by modeling various strategies on how toget the correct answer. We will "Apply" our methods to the problem set. The Student will then reinforce their capabilities on the "Exit Ticket".
