About Peter
After working as a software engineer for a year after university, I realized that the office life was not for me. I far prefer to work directly with people and really enjoy helping others better themselves. I like to work at the pace of the student and will make sure the foundational knowledge of any topic is strong before building complexity.

I like to teach in a conversational, interactive style to encourage the student to understand rather than copy. There is no shortcut to understanding and so I am happy to work at the pace of the student and not push new concepts too quickly.
Students can bring their own content from class or I can provide content for us to work through. Ideally, the student would provide me with some context on what they are struggling with or working on so that I can prepare appropriately for the lesson.
Lessons can range from 1 to 3 hours at a time.
