About Bryce
I have been tutoring for the past 7-8 years in AP Chemistry, math (algebra, algebra 2, geometry, trigonometry, and precalculus), AP US & World History, and AP English Language & Composition. I tutored writing at the collegiate level for 2 years and have been tutoring mathematics and chemistry almost a decade.

The way I approach tutoring is incredibly student based; I believe that most students can be guided to an answer rather than shown the answer out right. My time as a writing tutor encouraged me to ask my students more questions, probe for their ideas instead of feeding them my own, and encourage student creativity and growth rather than stifle it. During my tutoring sessions, I ask lots of questions, keep students engaged with interactive examples, and do my best to let students actually have fun with the learning process.

Depending on the need of the student, I am willing to lower my rate as low as $20/hr. This will be on a case by case basis depending on difficultly of material. I am also willing to discuss lower rates for families who have lower incomes or are struggling with other issues. Always feel free to reach out about hourly rates! I like to be as fair and reasonable as possible : )
