About Kim

I am a working actor, born and raised in London where I developed my love for this field.

I started training in the after school clubs of Sylvia Young at the age of 7. I did improve there for a couple of years, where I moved onto Anna Fiorentini and studied theatre in my extra curricular activities until the age of 17.

I have an extensive background in dance, which landed me in the Philippines in my teens - giving me the opportunity to back up dance for celebrities and eventually become one myself there (Shh!)

I was given the chance to act in my own TV series, which eventually led to movies and even a live televised theatre show (think SNL but corny...er). I had a great 8 years in the Philippines but now brings me to the journey of my return.

I came back to London a couple years ago to take my acting to a higher level, going to a private theatre school with the aim of planting my face in the West End.

As its a passion I've had since I was young, I'd love to share what makes acting beautiful to me in any way I can.

So... if you're here to act for fun or because you want to wipe your tears with a golden bald man called Oscar, hit me up! (And I'll hopefully see you on that stage!)

About the lesson

I am a trained theatre actor specialising in Stanislavski with a background also in Meisner. Most of my experience has developed on screen, but all of my training has been for the stage - giving me the best of both worlds!

A lesson will last a minimum of an hour, developing on bespoke aspects of acting that you'd like to work on.

These sessions can be tailored to those for those who are still quivering in their boots like Bambi or those who are dancing on ice with an abundance of experience.

If it's you'd like to create an approach to a monologue, to learn to create memories for a character far detached from your personality or to increase the quality of the projection in your voice - we can work on it.

Even if you have no idea of how to approach 'acting' or are unaware of any potential 'roadblocks', we can develop your approach together (with the guidance of Uta Hagen, Declan Donnellan and a couple of other acting greats).

If there's a technical issue, lets get you moving! If there's a 'mental' block, let's explore.

These sessions will not work as a "what is wrong and what can we change" diagnosis - you're probably already doing something great! These sessions will rather focus on your strengths and give you exercises and techniques to supplement what is working for you and to cover the holes of what isn't working.

And! If we've both got time, let's have a little fun... we can run a little over time and really dive into what we're working on.

These sessions will be held with a "the more you put in, the more you get out" approach, so come as an open book and let's get moving!
