About Alex
Hi, I'm Alex and I have a passion for tutoring, university study, tutoring experience, and am currently contracted as a tutor. I really enjoy the problem-solving aspect that comes with teaching a concept in a way that makes sense for my client so that they can gain real understanding and by extension confidence. I also think it's important that we create a plan so that we can both see a clear path from where we are now to where we want to be. I will help you come up with that so you have the confidence that comes with seeing clearly the path ahead laid out in manageable steps.

I believe it is important to help build real confidence through understanding, I believe it is also important to pair this with making a great plan with the student so they can see a clear step-by-step path from where they are now to where they want to be. These two things help grow understanding and keep us on track towards the goal. Session length can be negotiated, but usually 1 hour. I have studied mathematics at university during my engineering degree. I have experience tutoring and I have a passion for it. Currently tutoring up to and including grade 10.
