About Kasuni
Hello Students,
I’m thrilled to introduce myself as your ICT tutor! My name is Kasuni Dahanayake, and I’m passionate about sharing knowledge and helping students succeed in their academic journeys. I bring over two years of experience teaching the Pearson Edexcel IGCSE ICT syllabus, which has allowed me to develop a teaching style that makes learning enjoyable and effective. During my time at Leeds International School, I helped students like you prepare for London OL exams by simplifying complex concepts and ensuring that you understand not only the theory but also the practical applications of ICT.
Before that, I worked as a Lab Instructor at NSBM Green University, teaching programming languages, web development, and database management. This experience helped me gain hands-on skills that I now incorporate into my lessons, making sure you get practical knowledge that’s relevant in today’s fast-evolving tech world.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems with First Class Honors from University College Dublin, and I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in the same field at Edith Cowan University. My goal is to use my expertise to teach you in a way that’s engaging, relatable, and prepares you for the future. I want to not only help you ace your exams but also give you the tools to succeed in the tech industry.
