About TIVA
I’m someone who has always been curious about the world, about people, and about how we learn. That curiosity led me to become a teacher. I believe learning can open doors, change lives, and help you discover who you really are. I want to teach because I genuinely care about helping students grow not just academically, but also as people. Whether you're confident in a subject or struggling with it, my job is to support you, challenge you, and help you believe in what you’re capable of. I want our classroom to be a place where questions are welcome, effort is celebrated, and progress, no matter how big or small, is something we’re proud of. I’m not here just to give you information. I’m here to help you make sense of it, connect it to your life, and maybe even find something you’re passionate about. I believe in you already, and I’m really looking forward to what we’ll accomplish together.

One of my strongest skills as a teacher is the ability to explain things clearly and simply, no matter how difficult the topic may seem at first. I break lessons down into steps that make sense and connect with what you already know.
I’m also good at adapting my teaching style to match how different students learn. Some of you may learn best through visuals, others by doing hands-on work, or through stories and examples and I work to include all of that in my teaching.
I’m patient, and I never mind repeating or re-explaining something. I believe that asking questions is a sign of a good learner, and I encourage that in my classroom. I also make learning interactive and engaging we don’t just sit and listen, we discuss, explore, and practice together.
