About Donald

I have a bachelor's degree in Science (Math, Chemistry, Biology) and a master's degree in computer science.

I have been tutoring Math, Chemistry (K6 - K12) and ICT for 30+ years.

I have migrated to Australia from Sri Lanka 30 years ago and am currently living in Sydney.

I have a broad range of interests, including walking, programming, traveling, digital fabrication, cinema, creating and playing games, both physical and electronic.

About the lesson

I believe that every student is capable of excelling when given the right guidance and support. My teaching style is patient, structured, and always tailored to the individual, because I understand that no two students learn in exactly the same way.

Don was an incredible support throughout my HSC, tutoring me in both Advanced Mathematics and IPT. As someone who doesn't naturally take to maths, I was always met with patience and genuine kindness — Don has a real gift for making difficult concepts feel approachable and manageable.

The progress I made in both subjects is largely thanks to his guidance and encouragement. He consistently went above and beyond to make sure I understood the material and felt confident going into exams.
