Before tutoring starts
1. Carry out a pre-assessment to understand learning needs
2. Design the lesson and lesson plan to cater to the learning needs.
3. Conduct assessments from time to time to track progress
4.Report on outcome for parents / learner
As an experienced tutor and language trainer (TESOL and Colored Brain certified trainer), I'd integrate a variety of activities to enhance their learning experience.
I also believe that sufficient students' talking time in a classroom is important as it allows for more practice to happen in real time.
My sessions last for about 1.5 hours and it is suitable for young and working adults.
