About Maanya
I studied Economics Honours at Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi - one of India’s most competitive programmes. I’ve since completed an MBA in Business Management and I’m currently completing my MSc in Global Development at SOAS University of London. My academic background spans economics, business, public policy and development, which means I’m comfortable moving between the theoretical and the applied.
Teaching has been a thread running through most of what I’ve done. I’ve taught in a classroom, mentored Civil Service aspirants, and spent time working with communities in India through grassroots volunteering.

My teaching approach focuses on conceptual clarity and personalised learning. I tailor my methods to each student’s pace, using real life examples to simplify complex topics. I am patient with students who are still finding their footing, but I don’t just hand over answers. I like to leave something to chew on so the thinking actually sticks.
