About Vanessa
Having learnt piano and cello from when I was very little, I’m so grateful for the skills that allowed me to play and enjoy music as an adult.
My Musical Qualifications:
Cello
- AMusA with Distinction Diploma of Music on Cello (2016)
- 100% Music Scholarships at Meriden School and Presbyterian Ladies' College, Sydney
- First in Year 12 Music 2 HSC Course (2019)
- First in Year 12 Music Extension HSC Course (2019)
- Encore Nomination for Music Performance - Cello (2019)
Piano
- AMEB Grade 8 with Distinction
Music Theory
- AMEB Musicianship Grade 5 (High Distinction - 99%) (2016)
Performance Experience
- Soloist in Amadeus Trio at the Sydney Opera House (2013)
- Extensively involved in School Orchestras, Baroque Ensemble, and Musical Orchestras, as part of the Music Scholarship Program.
- Playing keys at church since high school.
Experience tutoring beginners at schools, and private tutoring at home.
I currently play the keyboard at church, and love to 'jam out' and play my favourite songs on the piano and cello in my spare time.
I am also currently studying Medicine at university.

I integrate music theory in my lessons, so that you can understand how to read music; equipping you with skills that will allow you to play with others and continue to upskill in the future!
