I am committed to providing exciting and stimulating opportunities for children to enhance their learning and development. My classes are positive and imaginative and reflect my well organised approach and good sense of humour. I am proud to have completed my teacher training as 'Outstanding'. More recently, I feel proud of my input at Braunstone Community Primary School which enabled the team's success in Early Years in developing from 'Requires Improvement' to 'Good' by OFSTED, which has been a very rewarding moment in my career.
I am aware of the EYFS Development Matters, the recent changes of the statutory framework and the importance of always noting children's characteristics of learning. I've attended many recent EYFS courses, and as such have developed a strong understanding of the current early year's guidelines.
As a result of my commitment and enthusiasm I was awarded the ‘Best New Teacher’ award across the academy trust of 18 schools.
