About Kieran

I am very passionate about the subjects I teach and pride myself on my ability to spread that passion and enjoyment. As a result of my Interest in Maths Programming and Physics, I have a very wide Knowledgebase. Furthermore, I spend significant quantities of time learning new things and improving my Knowledge; this has given me top-notch research skills. Meaning anything my students may wish to know that I cannot yet explain I will learn about then teach.
Currently, I am a Second Year student Student Studying Engineering Mathematics at Bristol University. This includes Significant Amounts of Programming, Mathematics, and Physics Giving me more than Adequate Knowledge to answer questions in and teach these subjects.
I have always enjoyed teaching, and find it comes naturally to me. How I conduct My lessons will depend on the student. Usually, I would Like to go through questions that I will prepare on topics the student is weak in helping as they go. I find this Practical approach best simulates exams and allows me to spot misconceptions, and holes in the student's knowledge. While also teaching the softer yet vital life skill of general problem-solving.
Programming is a practical skill best learned 1 to 1. Python is a great first language due to its relative simplicity, and wide-ranging use cases. For programming classes, I will set programming challenges and teach core concepts. I will then review the code created by students with them to point out strengths and weaknesses.
I have access to a huge number of specifically designed coding challenges. ranging from incredibly basic to advanced, meaning I can teach from a complete beginner level to advanced.
