About David
Bonjour! I'm David and I’m a French tutor who loves making the language come alive in a fun and practical way. It is a beautiful language that can be learnt by anyone, if they have the right guidance and have the patience to see measurable improvements and results. French is more than just grammar - it's also about being able to speak with confidence (if you are ever lost on French-speaking territory), and getting a better grip of their culture too, especially through literature. My aim is to simplify French as much as possible, so that progress can be made, tailored to any level, whether beginning to learn, or preparing for important exams. This is done in a comfortable environment, where the student can build their confidence, as they advance with the language.

In my French lessons, I like to make learning fun and practical. I use conversation and clear step-by-step explanations to help you understand grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. Also, since the language is learnt through a process of habitualisation, our lessons will be focused on speaking as much French as possible. Lessons usually last one hour, giving us time to practise speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I work with students from all levels, whether starting from scratch, GCSE level or A-Level, tailoring each lesson to your age, level, and personal goals so you feel confident and enjoy learning French. Education: Currently an Undergraduate at Imperial College London studying Mathematics. A-Levels: French (A* - 390/400 AQA), Maths (A*), Further Maths (A*).
