About Aarushi
I am from India originally and am fluent in speaking Hindi. I love to teach Hindi as it is the national language of India and is spoken across various states in India. Speaking Hindi in Australia has not only benefitted me in communicating with people from my own country, but it has also helped me to communicate with people from the sub-continent ie Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, Nepalis, Afghanis, and Bhutanis. Hindi is not only spoken in India but in many different countries as well and has a broad reach. This is why I am passionate about teaching Hindi as it is a great language!

I teach conversational Hindi only (no reading & writing - only speaking), and I cover various topics such as verbs, basic phrases, prepositions, numbers, colours, and many more. At the start of each lesson, I will ask the student to talk for a minute about a topic which I give them the previous week. Every alternative week, I do quizzes with my students so they apply the concepts they have learned in the classes. My typical length of each lesson is one hour.
I have previous experience in tutoring conversational Hindi for students aged 10-15. My lessons are for students of any age who are passionate to learn how to speak Hindi on a day-to-day basis. You do not have to have background - I teach at all levels of proficiency and can tailor the lessons according to the student's proficiency in speaking.
