About Samantha
I am currently studying Maths, Geography and Drama A-Level with predicted grades of ABB (A in maths). I got an 8 (A/A*) at GCSE and have always been very passionate about maths and enjoy problem solving. I’m also very patient and would love to help other students work to their personal goals.

I start by teaching a certain topic as basically as possible; by doing this, I aim to give the student a basic understanding while also giving myself an understanding of where their knowledge is at. I then use questions, often making up my own problems that I know my students will find interesting. An example is using chances of winning games in particular sports (that I know the student enjoys) which I can use to make probability interesting for them. I believe knowing my students personally helps with this - it also lets them know I care about them and their grade.
