About Lauren
I am a highly motivated, enthusiastic, versatile professional and I believe my education and previous experience in teaching will benefit your child because of my wide range of experience and knowledge that I have acquired in the last 12 years of employment and education. I have been working as a primary school teacher, covering the whole curriculum for 4 years now and during this time I have learnt to cater and adapt to the individual needs of every child. I am able to plan and differentiate work that is tailored to your child which will create a learning environment which will help them thrive! I understand all children learn differently and I have experience using many different teaching styles/methods. As well as this, I have also been working as a private tutor for the last year and enjoy being able to put 100 percent into one child, addressing misconceptions or weak areas in their learning and aiding their development. During my time as a class teacher/private tutor I have shown that I am able to work well under pressure and that I am able to meet targets based on the development of the children. Furthermore, I am an extremely hard worker who is determined and ambitious to succeed in any area that I apply myself to. In addition, I am organised and punctual which I feel are vital skills in this area of work. I feel I have great interpersonal skills and as a result of this, I have found that children/adults who I have worked with have responded positively to this. Other main skills I possess are effective classroom management and I have the ability to deliver and perform to the high standards of employer’s expectations. Additionally, I am a quick learner who is eager to achieve and impress by working hard, being reliable and pushing myself to reach my full potential through dedication and CPD.
