About Chiara
I was born in Milan, Italy, and moved to London when I was 18 to pursue my passion for theatre. I work with children of all ages (0+) and adults to cultivate their interest and knowledge of the Italian language, culture and literature. I have graduated with first-class honours from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama with a degree in Drama and Education, and with distinction from my high school (Liceo Classico Manzoni) with a focus on Classic (Ancient Greek and Latin).

Hello! My name is Chiara and I am an Italian theatre director, graduated from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama with first-class honour. I love teaching and have worked in education (in schools ad as a tutor) for more than five years.
My objective is to make students of all ages and abilities passionate about what they do, to encourage independent thinking and improve their confidence in the subject. I have taught children from the age of 5 and adults, as well as people with learning difficulties. My approach is enthusiastic and gentle, which ensures great results as well as enjoyable lesson time.
My approach is highly tailor-made based on the needs, levels and preferences of each student. The best thing about learning a language is that there is no way to do it wrong: you can practice by watching and commenting on your favourite show, cooking a plate of spaghetti or even playing a game! The most important thing is to stay consistent, which is why I include possible supplementary exercises and suggestions on how to practice in-between lessons.
I am happy to have online sessions or to have them in person (at mine or the student's house) around Acton/Shepherd's Bush.
