Hi! I'm Naznin, but you can call me Naz. I'm a dedicated nursing student with a strong passion for science and education. With a background in biology, chemistry, and applied math & statistics, I focus on helping students truly understand concepts rather than relying on memorization. My tutoring approach is personalized — I take the time to understand your learning style and tailor our sessions to fit your needs. Drawing from my experience achieving a 4.0 GPA in my college courses, I bring practical strategies and useful tips to help you excel. Hi! I'm a candidate for a Bachelor's in Nursing with a passion for learning and teaching biology, chemistry, and applied math & statistics. As someone who is neurodivergent, my focus is on meeting you where you are in your learning journey. Instead of relying on memorization or cramming, I focus on building a solid understanding of concepts. This way, you can apply what you learn across different subjects and real-life situations.

When we work together, we’ll tailor our sessions to suit your learning style, using proven strategies that helped me achieve a perfect 4.0 GPA in my college courses.

Who I Tutor: I don’t have a minimum age requirement, but my expertise extends to content covered at a bachelor's degree level. Before we start, I'll take the time to understand your current knowledge, challenges, and goals so I can create a customized support plan that fits your needs.

Biology (Elementary/High School to 100-level university courses)

Human Anatomy & Physiology: Functions, processes, and organ systems

Sienna is extremely talented and has so much potential. I worry that some foundational aspects may be where she has gaps. What wasn’t intended to be a tutoring session kind of turned into a full review on Lewis structures when she mentioned she had a test tomorrow which I was happy to do even though it was spontaneous. while reviewing however I felt that without some foundational understanding on ionic bonding and general atomic structures these gaps may pose a challenge on her upcoming test. I recommended beginning from the start and working through the content to build on her foundational concepts to strengthen her understanding moving forward. Without this it may be hard to keep up with the content.

Details

Your first session is a free 30-minute introductory meeting where we’ll focus on creating a personalized plan to best support your learning goals. This is also your opportunity to ask questions, explore what I can offer, and see how I can create a supportive and engaging environment for you.

My hourly rate is $25, with additional options available if you'd like to purchase a pack of 5 hours for $125 or 10 hours for $250. Webcam sessions are available for $25 per hour.

For in-person sessions, a travel fee of $10 will apply if I need to come to your location or if you'd like to meet at a public place, such as a coffee shop.

Future sessions are customized to your needs, with a minimum session length of one hour.
