About Preston
I'm a recent graduate with a master's degree in computer science from the University of California, Irvine who has multiple published and peer reviewed research articles in the fields of machine learning and statistics. I have years of tutoring experience working for the Office of Minority Education Division at Georgia Institute of Technology during my undergraduate, as well as teaching experience as a TA at UCI. I'm looking forwards to working with you and assisting you in reaching your educational goals!

I'm very interested in finding unique and personalized ways of explaining core concepts and ideas. I believe that science and math should engage the imagination and connect not only with the intellect, but ideally also the heart through curious exploration.
Typically as a tutor I would expect a syllabus or topic of interest in advance from the student so I can prepare a lesson to explain the core ideas. I will not do homework for you, although I will happily help you learn how to solve your problems for yourself.
