About Cora
I earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Studies, a Master of Music in Performance, and a PhD in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy. Over the last 12 years, I have worked with singers of different ages and experience levels, helping them strengthen technique and develop confidence. My love for singing began through performance experiences, ensemble work, and years of dedicated vocal study. Teaching allows me to combine artistic passion with meaningful mentorship. Supporting students as they discover their unique voices continues to inspire me.
My teaching approach is built on patience, encouragement, and individual attention. Every singer has different strengths, goals, and challenges, so lessons are carefully adapted to meet those needs. Technical instruction is always connected to musical expression so that learning remains engaging and meaningful. Students receive practical guidance that supports lasting improvement and confidence. This creates a positive and supportive learning environment.
Outside teaching, I enjoy attending performances, studying vocal traditions, and exploring music from different cultures. These experiences inspire my lessons and keep my perspective fresh. Watching students achieve goals they once thought impossible is deeply rewarding. I strive to create lessons that are engaging, supportive, and effective. My goal is to help learners build voices that reflect both skill and individuality.

My singing lessons help students discover and develop their voices in a supportive and motivating environment. I focus on breath management, vocal placement, resonance development, pitch control, phrasing, articulation, tone quality, and expressive performance. Lessons combine technical training with artistic exploration so that students learn how to communicate emotion through music while maintaining healthy vocal habits. This balance helps singers develop confidence alongside technical skill. Every lesson encourages personal growth and musical enjoyment.
Each learner receives a personalized learning experience based on their goals and interests. Activities may include vocal exercises, song interpretation work, performance preparation, confidence-building routines, breath-awareness practice, and creative expression exercises. Students are encouraged to explore their unique strengths while developing greater control and consistency. Constructive feedback helps learners improve while staying motivated throughout the process. This individualized approach supports long-term progress and meaningful development.
My goal is to help students feel confident and comfortable using their voices. As vocal skills improve, learners often discover greater freedom to express themselves creatively and emotionally. Lessons encourage persistence, self-awareness, and artistic growth. Every achievement contributes to stronger vocal ability and personal confidence. I want students to enjoy every stage of their musical journey.
