Hello, my name is Elizabeth, and I specialise in teaching watercolour painting with a focus on nature, including botanical art, vibrant florals, and fruits. My teaching methodology is hands-on and personalised, focusing on building a strong foundation of skills through practical exercises and projects tailored to your interests. I believe in fostering a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere where creativity can flourish without pressure.
My lessons are perfect for anyone, from absolute beginners to intermediate painters of all ages who want to develop their skills. A typical lesson is 60 minutes long, which allows enough time to introduce new concepts, practice techniques, and work on a piece of art together. While I don't have a formal teaching qualification, I have years of experience as a practicing artist and have helped many students discover the joy of watercolour painting. I will guide you step-by-step through the process, helping you master techniques like wet-on-wet, dry brushing, and layering to bring your favourite natural subjects to life on paper.
