About Olaoluwa
I am Olaoluwa Gbenla and I am a first year law student at the University of Bristol. I have been a tutor for 3+ years. I've tutored numerous people through their S.A.Ts and GCSE's. I love teaching and helping people understand topics they previously found difficult. I listen to my students and tailor each lesson to their needs. I form a connection with my students which fosters a welcoming learning environment.

I teach on the Zoom platform which allows for lots of interactivity despite the geographical distance. In the first lesson I normally do a worksheet with 3-5 different topics and whatever is the hardest topic is the focus of the lesson. If we have time, we go through the other hard topics but if there isn’t I always make sure that is the first thing we do for the next lesson. I always check understanding before moving on and do not care about how long we spend on a certain topic as I want to make sure my students understand the topic. Each lesson is tailored to the student and their learning style. I have tutored SEN children so can also adapt my lessons to fit their needs.

Olaoluwa is an outstanding maths tutor who has helped my daughter make real progress and grow in confidence. She is consistently professional, supportive, and highly knowledgeable, always providing clear explanations and excellent resources. Ola’s calm, encouraging approach has made a huge difference, and I fully recommend her to any parent or student seeking a reliable and effective tutor.
Olaoluwa has been tutoring my daughter in Maths and French for over a year and a half now. Her tutoring helped my daughter achieve greater depth in her Year 6 SATS.
She is always on time for lessons and makes them fun and engaging for my daughter. I highly recommend her!View more recommendations
