About Callum
I’m a recent graduate of Durham University, where I studied for a Master of Physics in Theoretical Physics. At A-Level I achieved an A* in Mathematics, Physics, and Further Mathematics. I’m an avid climber, the problem solving aspect of it appeals to me, as well as it providing a fantastic excuse to venture into nature.
I enjoy tutoring simply because I enjoy seeing the confidence of my students grow as they fully realise their potential.

I like to take a methodical approach to teaching, I begin with breaking down the students individual needs and using this to build a plan to cover every aspect of the A-level/GCSE exams.
Exams require knowledge (of course!), but another overlooked aspect is the “technique” to apply this knowledge during the exam. My tutoring won’t just be an hour of reading out a book, instead I will cater the teaching to maximise a students ability to ace an exam. In the limited time a student gets in a test, being able to identify exactly what a question wants as an answer is an invaluable skill usually overlooked by schools.
