About Kathi

I’m a native German speaker from Munich. I worked passionately as a nurse for many years and later as a social worker supporting refugees – some of whom arrived in Germany without knowing a single word of German. That’s where I gained my first experience in teaching the language, and I loved it! As someone who learned Spanish as an adult, I know exactly what it feels like to study a new language. I understand the challenges from both sides, and I’ll support you at your pace, with the intensity and focus that works best for you. In general, I’m a very patient and flexible tutor, and I truly look forward to working with you!

About the lesson

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.

Don’t worry – you’re in the right place!

My name is Kathi and I’m a native German speaker with a passion for teaching beginners in a simple, clear and friendly way. I truly believe that everyone can learn German – step by step, at their own pace.

What you can expect from my lessons:
• Patient and encouraging guidance – no stress, no pressure
• Real-life German you can actually use in everyday situations
• Customized lessons based on your goals and level
• Lots of speaking practice in a relaxed atmosphere
• Clear explanations of grammar (yes, even the tricky parts!)

🩺 Are you a healthcare worker?
As I worked as nurse for many years I offer special support for nurses, caregivers, and medical professionals who need German for the workplace – including vocabulary, communication with patients and documentation.

Whether you’re learning for work, travel, or everyday life – I’m here to support you.

Let’s make German fun and useful for you.
Book your first lesson and let’s get started!

Looking forward to meeting you!
