About Kathi

I’m a native German speaker from Munich. I worked passionately as a nurse for many years and later as a social worker supporting refugees – some of whom arrived in Germany without knowing a single word of German. That’s where I gained my first experience in teaching the language, and I loved it! As someone who learned Spanish as an adult, I know exactly what it feels like to study a new language. I understand the challenges from both sides, and I’ll support you at your pace, with the intensity and focus that works best for you. In general, I’m a very patient and flexible tutor, and I truly look forward to working with you!

My name is Kathi and I’m a native German speaker with a passion for teaching beginners in a simple, clear and friendly way. I truly believe that everyone can learn German – step by step, at their own pace.
