About Abdullah
I’ve always enjoyed helping others learn—whether it’s explaining a tricky maths problem or showing someone how to use a computer tool more efficiently. Tutoring allows me to combine my academic strengths with my personal qualities: I’m calm, a good listener, and able to explain things in a way that feels approachable, not overwhelming. As a student myself, I understand the challenges learners face and how important it is to have someone patient and supportive guiding you. My goal is to make students feel comfortable, motivated, and proud of their progress. I genuinely believe that anyone can succeed in maths or computing with the right help, and I’m here to provide that help in a way that works for each individual.

My approach to tutoring is all about clarity, patience, and building confidence step by step. I use real-world examples and simplified explanations to break down complex concepts, especially in subjects like Maths and Computing. I guide students at their own pace, making sure they truly understand the “why” behind each solution. I like to start each lesson with a quick review, followed by focused problem-solving and recap at the end. Lessons typically last around 60 minutes, but I adjust based on the student’s needs and attention span. I’ve studied Maths, Algebra, and Computing up to SCQF Level 5/6 and continue to apply these skills in my Cyber Security degree. While I’m still building professional tutoring experience, I have helped classmates and younger students improve their understanding and grades. My lessons are best suited for school students (ages 12–18) or adult learners needing foundational support in these subjects.
