About Tim

My career started with a keen interest in the physical sciences. I had a knack and pursued it all the way into Chaos Theory, General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics.
I took a step back and taught for many years in high school helping many students learn their own understanding.
I then applied my knowledge in a practical sense and gained some of the most useful skills in becoming an Electrician. It’s where physics magic meets society. A highlight was working on the construction and testing of massive solar farms and even getting to switch one on for the first time.
Lastly, since learning is never done, I am diving back into university with computer science.
Since the recent birth of my son, I couldn’t be happier.
I am finding online tutoring a great way to reach out and give back.

About the lesson

Online only easily accessible.
Simple 1 hour sessions one on one.
I use MS teams mainly with screen sharing and pdf textbooks.
We’ll work through your problems and cover what you need. I’ll coach you in study, revision and exam techniques. I’ll share useful online resources that extend your understanding. There’s a whole world of free resources out there, we live in this overwhelmingly abundant time…
There’s a reason you came looking for tutor.
I hope to give you the skills to learn at your best independently.
