About Aakash
I am a second-year University of Western Australia student studying Cybersecurity, currently also majoring in Data Science. I have one year of experience working as a Technical Support Officer at a local high school, where I regularly assist students and staff and work in a learning environment every day.
I am patient, approachable, and used to explaining things clearly to younger students. I understand that many students struggle with math because concepts are rushed in class, so I focus on explaining ideas step-by-step in a simple and comfortable way.
My aim is not only to improve grades, but also to help students feel confident asking questions and no longer feel stressed about math.

Lessons are designed to help students genuinely understand maths concepts rather than memorising steps. Each session begins by identifying what the student finds difficult, followed by clear explanations and guided practice until they can solve questions independently and confidently.
Support available includes:
• Homework and assignment help
• Test and exam preparation
• Catch-up support for missed or confusing topics
• Building strong foundations (fractions, decimals, percentages, algebra, equations, and word problems)
• Problem-solving strategies and study techniques
Lessons are calm, patient, and paced to suit the student. Questions are always encouraged, and there is no pressure or judgement. Extra practice questions and revision help can be provided before school assessments to reinforce learning and improve confidence.
Availability:
After school on weekdays and flexible weekend sessions can be arranged.
