About Rosanne
As a mom of four whose children had special learning needs, I know how stressful the entire educational process becomes when your child is struggling to read. That's why I originally pursued training as a Reading Instruction Specialist fourteen years ago! My three older children now have academic scholarships for college, and my remaining high school student is excelling academically in his dual enrollment classes. When I saw how well the Academic Associates Reading Program worked for them years ago, I knew I wanted to teach other kids so that they could love reading as well. As a result, I now have over a decade of experience successfully using the Academic Associates Reading Program to teach scores of other children and teens, both beginning readers and those who are struggling. My students typically gain between 2-4 grade levels of reading mastery by course completion. However, my greatest joy is watching the transformation in kids who once hated reading. Where they used to feel ashamed of their struggle, they have now blossomed into confident readers, proud of their success and enjoying positive impacts on their performance in other school classes as well.

Do you have a child who is struggling with reading? Perhaps you've attempted phonics-based programs that didn't seem to make noticeable changes in your student's skill level or you have a grade-level reader that you want to see improve in speed, fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary.
It's really hard when something that is foundational to education isn't going well for a kid that is bright in so many other ways.
The Academic Associates Reading Method can help your student read better! It was specifically designed, based on educational research, to teach to the language center of the brain and to create new neural-pathways in people with learning challenges.
This program has provided valuable skills to students with dyslexia, ADHD, ASD, and language processing disabilities. It's also a solid way for new readers without learning challenges to become expert readers quickly.
The Academic Associates program is a 13 section course that teaches not only phonics but all skills needed for word decoding, processing, and comprehension. We require at least 2 sessions per week in order to create the neurological changes in the language center of the brain and tailor lessons to the individual student's rate of mastery.
Three standardized assessment tools are used pre-course, at two milestones within the course, and upon course completion to measure progress. (However, the greatest markers of progress are those you'll see in your child's new reading confidence!)
If you're interested in learning more, our initial assessments are free and without obligation.

Rosanne worked with two of my children. Her techniques helped my then 5th grader to quickly get up to grade level and gain confidence in his abilities. She also worked with my then 8 year old who was not reading at all. Through Rosanne’s diligent and focused sessions, we were able to uncover some significant learning disabilities and find appropriate techniques and strategies to help her be successful. My family will forever be grateful for Ms. Rosanne!
Rosanne worked with two of my 3 children who had reading struggles (Dyslexia and ADD) during elementary school. I was overwhelmed by how to help my kids and found Rosanne's experience, understanding and calm demeanor very helpful in navigating through the process. She is a great teacher, who was always prepared for each session. Her patience and understanding of each student’s strengths and abilities, as well as their challenges and needs, was instrumental in my children's success. I would recommend Rosanne to anyone needing extra academic support for their children.
My son was really struggling with readin by 3rd grade and we had difficulty getting anyone to accurately access him because he would shut down with unknown adults.
Rosanne was patient and built a rapport with him in order to access his needs.
Using the Academic Associates program, which is an Orton-Gillingham based phonics program with extra sections & techniques that address processing disorders and create new pathways in the brain, she was able to assist him in developing his reading skills. I highly recommend Rosanne because of her knowledge of how to help students and her ability to connect with students.I have triplets who were born prematurely, and another child 17 months younger. The triplets have some minor learning differences, and the younger child is a completely typical learner. We suspected early on that two of the triplets could be dyslexic. Rosanne evaluated them and helped us determine a path to get them the help they needed (which turned out to be vision issues). After we got that worked out, she taught all four kids to read.
Rosanne has the patience of a saint, and it takes one to listen to a kid sound out CCCCCAAAAATTT for the 400th time when they just saw that word two words ago and don't remember it! She worked with all four kids individually, and some had slightly longer lessons and some slightly shorter so she could keep them at the same place, simplifying my life and keeping the kids from competing. (I would never have thought about that ahead of time, but she just seems to think of al those kinds of things!)
All four kids came away with an extremely strong phonics background, and all are excellent readers because of it. They are now high school seniors and a junior, and all have excellent standardized test scores in reading, and more importantly, they ENJOY reading because they are good at it.
Best money I ever spent was hiring Rosanne to teach my kids to read!My had several struggles, including ADHD, being on the spectrum and reading issues. Roseanne worked with him and got him reading much better, and worked with his dyslexia. He now is 21 years old, employed and reads well. He actually buys books and has a great working vocabulary. Night and day from where we started!
Roseanne has tutored both my girls that have dyslexia and ADHD. She helped them excel in english and in reading. Roseanne is truly a great person and will do whatever she can to help. The teaching methods she uses are on point and key for success. My children still use skills they learned from Roseanne after they have completed their tutoring program with her.
