About Mahlatse
I am a dedicated and patient private tutor with a strong passion for helping learners understand and succeed academically. I work in a professional, structured, and supportive manner, always aiming to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable, respected, and motivated to improve.
I have experience tutoring high school learners and supporting them with difficult concepts, revision, and exam preparation. I take my responsibility as a tutor seriously and focus on clear explanations, consistency, and steady progress. I understand that every learner is different, and I tailor my lessons to suit individual needs and learning styles.

My approach to private tutoring is patient, learner-centred, and focused on understanding rather than memorisation. I adapt my teaching style to each learner’s needs and pace, creating a calm, supportive space where questions are always welcome.
What makes me unique as a tutor is my ability to break down complex concepts into simple, clear steps. I focus on building confidence alongside academic skills, helping learners feel more comfortable and capable in their subjects.
I teach in English and use practical examples and guided practice to make lessons easy to follow. A typical lesson includes revising key concepts, working through examples together, and practising exam-style questions where appropriate.
My lessons are aimed at Grade 9–12 learners who need remedial support, revision, exam preparation, or ongoing assistance. I tutor Mathematics, Mathematical Literacy, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Geography.
