About Seri Laila
Hello! I am a passionate mathematics tutor dedicated to helping students overcome their fear of math and achieve their academic goals. Having achieved A+ (Top Grade / High Distinction) in both Mathematics and Additional Mathematics at high school level, I have a deep analytical understanding of core algebra, functions, and problem-solving techniques.
*Why I Teach:
I believe that anyone can excel at mathematics with the right approach and a patient guide. Many students struggle not because math is hard, but because it is often taught in an overly rigid way. I teach because I love seeing the "lightbulb moment" when a student finally grasps a concept they previously found impossible.
*My Background & Style
Top Academic Achievement: Scored top distinction (A+) in advanced secondary mathematics and calculus.
Supportive & Patient: I focus on building a safe learning environment where asking questions is always encouraged.
Goal-Oriented: Whether you want to pass an upcoming exam or boost your grades to the top tier, I tailor every session to your personal goals.

Mathematics does not have to be intimidating. My tutoring approach focuses on breaking down complex algebraic formulas, calculus, and mathematical concepts into simple, digestible steps to build both skill and confidence.
*Teaching Methodology & Techniques
Concept Breakdown: We start by simplifying core principles before attempting complex exam-style questions.
Interactive Problem-Solving: I guide students through live practice problems, encouraging active thinking rather than passive listening.
Targeted Revision: Exercises are customized to target specific weak areas in algebra, equations, and functions.
*Lesson Details & Structure
Duration: Standard lessons run for 60 minutes, which includes concept explanation, guided practice, and a quick Q&A wrap-up.
Target Students: Designed primarily for Junior Cycle students (Higher & Ordinary Level) and Leaving Certificate students (Ordinary Level).
I aim to create a supportive, patient learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace.
