My Approach as a Tutor
My approach is centered on natural, relaxed conversation that helps learners feel comfortable and confident speaking English in real-life situations. I believe people learn best when they feel at ease, so I focus on creating a friendly, judgment-free environment where conversation flows naturally rather than feeling like a lesson.
I guide students using open-ended questions, active listening, and gentle correction when needed. Instead of interrupting constantly, I let conversations develop and offer feedback afterward so learners can stay engaged and confident while speaking.
Typical Lesson Structure
A typical session starts with a brief, casual check-in to warm up the conversation. From there, we move into topics that match the student’s interests and goals, such as daily life, work, travel, culture, or current events.
If a student wants to focus on specific skills—pronunciation, vocabulary, or fluency—I naturally incorporate those into the conversation rather than turning it into a formal lesson.
Each session is flexible and adapted in real time based on the student’s level, comfort, and goals.
