About Narges
Hello! I am an experienced Teaching Assistant and teacher with over 14 years of educational experience, including 10 years teaching Art and supporting SEND students, and 4 years working in UK secondary schools as a SEND Teaching Assistant.
I enjoy helping children who struggle with confidence in maths, especially lower-ability learners and students with SEND. I understand that maths can sometimes feel stressful or overwhelming, and I believe every child can learn when supported in the right way.
My background in Art and Maths gives me a creative and visual teaching style. I enjoy finding simple, practical ways to explain difficult concepts and helping children experience those “I understand it now!” moments.
I currently work in a UK school, hold an up-to-date Enhanced DBS check, and am passionate about helping children feel more confident and successful in their learning.

My lessons are calm, patient and adapted to each child’s learning style. I understand that many children feel anxious, overwhelmed or lack confidence in maths, so I focus on making learning feel manageable and encouraging.
I specialise in supporting lower-ability learners, SEND students and children who may struggle in traditional classroom settings. I break maths into small, achievable steps and use visual explanations, real-life examples and practical methods to help children understand concepts more clearly.
I believe confidence comes before progress. My goal is not only to improve maths skills, but also to help students feel more positive, capable and less worried about learning.
Lessons can be adapted for homework support, catching up with schoolwork, confidence building, or strengthening foundational maths skills from Primary to KS3 and GCSE Foundation level.
