About Tomiwa
Hi, I'm Tomiwa. I'm a software engineer based in Toronto. I studied computer science, and math has been part of my daily life ever since. I scored a 1550 on the SAT, and I've been tutoring since university, where I helped classmates get through calculus and physics.
People tell me I'm patient, and I think that's the most important part of teaching. I remember what it feels like to stare at a problem and not know where to start. My job is to get you past that feeling.

My lessons are online and pretty relaxed. We start by figuring out what you already know, then work through problems together. I explain each step in plain language. If something doesn't click, we slow down and try it from a different angle. No lectures, no judgment.
A typical lesson looks like this: we go over your homework or current topic, I walk through one or two examples, then you solve similar problems while I guide you. You leave knowing exactly what to practice before next time.
