About Abhijay
I am a student passionate about coding, math, teaching, and problem solving. I started learning programming at a young age and have taught students internationally through KidsWhoTeach.org. I enjoy helping learners build confidence by explaining concepts in simple, interactive ways. Along with tutoring, I compete in debate, enjoy basketball, and create educational content online. My approach as a tutor is centered around making learning interactive, encouraging, and easy to understand. I focus on helping students truly understand concepts instead of just memorizing answers. Especially in subjects like Python and math, I like breaking complicated ideas into smaller steps and using examples, visuals, and practice problems to build confidence gradually.
During lessons, I usually start by reviewing what the learner already knows and identifying where they are getting stuck. Then I explain the concept step-by-step, work through examples together, and finally let the learner try problems independently while I guide them when needed. I also encourage questions throughout the session because I want students to feel comfortable participating instead of being afraid to make mistakes.
What sets me apart as a tutor is that I combine technical knowledge with patience and communication. Since I started learning coding at a young age and have taught students internationally through KidsWhoTeach.org, I understand how to explain topics in a way that feels approachable for beginners while still keeping advanced learners engaged. I also try to make lessons enjoyable and interactive rather than lecture-based.
My lessons are mainly for middle school and early high school students, especially beginners and intermediate learners in Python and introductory computer science. I work well with students who want extra support, are learning concepts for the first time, or want to build stronger confidence in their academic abilities.
