About Nicole
I am a professionally trained performer with a Bachelor of Performing Arts from the Central Academy of Drama and a Master’s degree from Queen’s University, where I further explored performance, culture, and media. My background includes Peking Opera, drama acting, vocals, stage movement, and character work, giving me a strong foundation across both classical and contemporary performance forms. I have years of teaching experience, from coaching opera students and preparing performers for competitions to supporting university theater courses as a teaching assistant at Queen’s. I also continue to participate in annual stage productions and cultural performances, keeping my artistic practice active, current, and connected to the professional world. Students describe my teaching style as patient, encouraging, and detail-oriented. I care deeply about helping learners build confidence, express themselves creatively, and discover their unique voice as performers.
