My teaching philosophy is to learn piano with joy and become friends with it till your entire life. Thus, apart from solo pieces which are the core learning, I often and encourage students to add some piano duet repertoires in their lessons so that a variety of melodies can be played and heard. Also, students will find it more challenging to play duet or ensemble as they need to collaborate with other(s) and make the music happening.
I taught piano since 2002. I have graduated from University of Melbourne with Bachelor of Music and Graduate Diploma of Education. I also obtained Licentiate of Music (AMEB) in 2001. More than 15 years of teaching, I have given students immense joy of music through performance and achieving success in exams.
The rate for piano lesson will depend on the student's level. Fees are paid by term (10 weeks per term). There is no refund. Each student can only have 2 (two) make-up lessons maximum. To cancel a lesson, parent needs to give notice 24 hours ahead, otherwise, the no-show-up lesson will be paid for.
