What I Offer (MATH1720, 1721 & 1722)
Making the jump to university-level mathematics can be overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be. Whether you are struggling with calculus, vectors, matrices, or the underlying theories, I am here to help. I offer:
* Step-by-step guidance: Decomposing intricate theorems into logical, easy-to-digest pieces.
* Assignment support: Helping you understand the logic behind assignment questions so you can solve them independently.
* Intensive Exam Prep: Focused revision sessions covering past papers and core concepts right before midterms and final exams.
My Teaching Style
My approach is personalized, patient, and focused on genuine comprehension rather than pure memorization. I focus on the "why" and "how." We will work through problems together, and I encourage you to ask as many questions as you need. My goal is to build your mathematical intuition and confidence so you can ace your exams.
Location
I tutor in-person on the UWA campus. We can meet in the meeting room of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics or any other quiet study space on campus that works for you.
