About Chen
My name is Chen, an undergraduate student at Imperial College London studying Computing Achieved A* in A-levels Mathematics (Edexcel), Further Maths (Edexcel), Computer Science (OCR) and Physics (AQA). And 9 9s in GCSE including further maths As someone who has also gone through the same experience, I understand how hectic these times could be. I eventually found a method that worked for me and I know I can help find yours to achieve the same or even better outstanding results. I believe work-life balance is very important but sometimes, especially during sixth-form or college, it can feel like you have no time at all but I am willing to guide you, improve your time management and help maintain those high grades.

As someone who has recently gone through the UCAS application process, I have first-hand experience of writing a strong personal statement and understanding what universities are looking for. As part of the 2026 University Admissions Cycle, I have experience with the new UCAS 3-question Personal Statement format, and can help students structure and develop their answers around their own experiences, interests and academic goals. Having applied to highly competitive universities myself, I was also interviewed by the University of Cambridge, giving me insight into how to present yourself effectively as an applicant and demonstrate genuine academic interest beyond simply listing achievements. I can help students develop their ideas, improve their structure and wording, and make their personal statement feel authentic and personal to them, rather than generic or overly polished. My aim is to guide students through the process while ensuring their statement remains genuinely their own, helping them confidently communicate why they are suited to their chosen course and university.
