About Paula

I'm a graduated Language teacher and I also hold a degree in Performing Arts. I'm originally from Argentina, but I love traveling and I try to do it as much as I can. I also enjoy watching series and going to the cinema. In fact, I love exchanging recommendations with my students, so let me know if you have anything in mind. We might also use it in the class! I've been working as a language teacher for over a decade. I've worked at schools and colleges in Argentina, Australia and Hungary. And I've been a private tutor for 13 years, working with people from all over the world. I've also been an examiner for international exams. I've done several courses since I graduated because I'm always looking to be as updated as possible and have a wide variety of resources to help my students grow in a comfortable space.

About the lesson

In the first class, we'll get to know each other and assess your level. We'll also talk about your preferences and objectives so I can plan each class based on what you like and need. We can use books, articles, music, videos, games, exercises... We will find the resources that feel right for you. I like having a good relationship with my students, so they feel comfortable expressing themselves. My main role is helping you achieve your goals. Sometimes, that means clarifying some grammar points, but it can also mean motivation and the space to make mistakes freely. I work with all levels and ages. Usually, lessons are one hour long, but we can modify this if you feel it's necessary.

I can't say how Paula helped me during my first time in Australia, I arrived to this country with not too much English and she was my teacher during that time, helping me to improve my English skills really fast, after a few months I was able to maintein a long conversation with any person here. I also did my IELTS test and I got a score of 8 points with her help. I recommend her 100%. She is the best.
