About Siri
I'm a 30-year-old educator, ceramicist, and writer from New Jersey, now based in Brooklyn. Alongside my work as a tutor, I’m passionate about creative writing and am currently working on my first novel. When I’m not teaching or writing, you’ll often find me in the ceramics studio, where I love the hands-on process of shaping and creating. As a tutor, I take a Montessori-inspired, child-centered approach to teaching English, focusing on reading, writing, and grammar for children ages 3–12. With 6 years of classroom experience and a Master’s in Curriculum and Teaching from Columbia University, I tailor each lesson to the child’s developmental stage, interests, and learning style.
