About Andrea

Hi! I’m Andy, a native Spanish speaker from Mexico and a current student of Foreign Languages. I’ve studied English for more than six years, and at the same time I’m learning three new languages on my own —so I fully understand the challenges, nerves, and excitement that come with starting a new language from zero.

Because of this background, I’ve specialised in Spanish teaching and developed a patient, friendly, and supportive approach for my students. I’ve taught Spanish to groups of elementary and middle school students in the United States through online classes, as well as to adults over 20, which has helped me create lessons that are clear, engaging, and easy to follow for any age and level. My boyfriend is Norwegian, and I’ve helped him improve his Spanish too, so I’m familiar with the kinds of challenges some learners often face when studying the language.

I believe language learning should feel safe, motivating, and human —we all learn differently, and that’s completely okay. In my classes, you can expect open communication, respect, and a comfortable space to grow your confidence step by step.

About the lesson

My lessons are taught entirely in English, and they are designed for any level —from complete beginners to advanced learners who want to refine grammar, improve fluency, or practise real-life communication.

You’ll also have access to me between lessons. If you have a question, need help with a sentence, or want quick feedback, you can message me —this makes learning easier and helps you stay motivated.

My lessons are fully personalised and tailored to each student's individual goals and needs. To ensure the highest quality and attention, I work with no more than five students at a time.

I only accept students who are genuinely committed to learning Spanish, and in return, I promise the same level of dedication from my side. I prepare carefully for each lesson, adapt everything to your needs, and make sure you feel supported every step of the way.
