About Shivan

I’m a qualified, TRBWA-accredited teacher based in Perth (Canning Vale) and I specialize in helping Primary 6 students feel calmer and more confident with Math. I take small-group Math classes designed to keep learning engaging, structured and affordable, especially for students who benefit from peer learning while still receiving close guidance. In addition to my own teaching, I lead a small team of dedicated educators who support older students. Together, we’ve helped hundreds of children feel more capable, more organized and more confident at school. If your child needs gentle support, steady stretch or a fresh start in Math, I’d be glad to guide them towards real, visible progress.

About the lesson

Many families reach out when Maths begins to feel overwhelming at home — homework turning into tears, slipping confidence or gaps that suddenly appear in class tests. My lessons are designed to gently close these gaps before they grow.

I’m a qualified TRBWA-accredited teacher who specialises in Maths. Each lesson runs for 60 minutes and follows a calm, structured, step-by-step approach. I focus on number fluency, problem-solving and reasoning skills aligned with the Australian Curriculum, breaking concepts into simple, relatable explanations so learning feels manageable.

I provide guided practice sheets and weekly homework to reinforce understanding between lessons. For families in Perth, I offer small-group Maths classes that keep learning interactive, supportive and affordable.

Parents often notice quick wins within a few weeks — smoother homework time, fewer arguments and a child who begins saying, “I get this now.” My goal is to build strong foundations, steady confidence and visible progress your child can feel proud of.
