About Parham
My name is Parham (Parmy for short). I did my high school and undergrad (Mechanical Engineering) in New Zealand, and then I moved to Australia to study my PhD in Biomedical Engineering, at the University of Adelaide. I like running, soccer, tennis, working out at the gym, and spending time with my partner, friends, and family. I also really enjoy teaching others about Math and Physics, because once you understand the fundamentals, not only does school become easier but also so many opportunities become available after school. I like to think that I can motivate students to like Math and Physics and want to do cool things with it.

About the lesson

Our first session will be all about getting an understanding of your current level, and your goals in the current academic year. We can then start to make a plan for how we can reach the desired goal. Based on that plan we will know what material we will need to cover in each subsequent lesson. I will start by explaining the theory, and will use notes, videos, and simple experiments to make sure it makes sense to my student. Once the theory is grasped to some extent, we will begin with sample exercises on the topic, doing the first few together and allowing my student to do the rest by him/herself in my presence. I will typically have additional exercises that I will leave with the student to practice, until our next lesson. In the next lesson, we will quickly review what we learned last time, and continue ahead with our schedule.
