About Laura

I have a passion for spelling, punctuation and grammar and consider myself to be like a loveable Clippy or autocorrect. I want to help you achieve the grades you deserve and I can help you do that by proofreading your essays, courseworks, and theses to a professional standard.

About the lesson

I write prose to a UK-university level and am able to proofread in any subject. Having obtained a first-class integrated masters degree in Natural Sciences, I have proficiency in quantitative and qualitative analysis, and have previously proofread courseworks, exam practice questions, and multiple final-year theses. Every thesis I have proofread has achieved a first-class grade - a grade which, on a couple of occasions, has pushed the student into the upper grade boundary for their degree.

When you read your own writing, you embellish the words in your mind so you understand the concepts. Unfortunately, this can mean your writing only makes sense to you. That's where I can help. I offer proofreading for all university-level students with no judgement. I am familiar with how dyslexia and other writing-related difficulties can affect coursework grades and confidence in writing so I'm here to help you attain the grades you deserve.
